1319 Chrysocrambus linetella

(Fabricius, 1781)

Wingspan c. 20-27mm.

A very rare migrant species, only a handful of records have been recorded from Britain. Two were from south-east England during the late 19th century, and then more recently, one was recorded from East Sussex in 1997.

It is similar to C. craterella, and genitalia examination is advised for identification.
