1769 Spruce Carpet Thera britannica

Wingspan 18-25 mm.

Found throughout Britain in suitable habitat (spruce plantations), though less common in Scotland and Ireland.

There are two broods, flying from May to July, and then in September and October.

The larvae feed on spruce (Picea spp.) and Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii).
