([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Wingspan c. 12mm.

A local species distributed in parts of south-east England, with isolated pockets occurring further north and west.

The moths fly in July and August, when they are attracted to light.

The larva feed inside the seedheads of tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) or sneezewort (Achillea ptarmica) and pupate inside the stem.
