Strawberry Tortrix Acleris comariana

Wingspan 13-18 mm.

This is a highly variable species, having several known forms in Britain.

Two generations occur during the year, with the adults flying in June and July, and again from late August to November.

The larvae feed on wild and cultivated strawberry, and related plants, and can become a pest in strawberry fields.
