Antigastra catalaunalis

Wingspan c. 20 mm.

A rare migrant species to this country, mainly to the southern counties. Abroad, the species occurs from southern Europe into the tropics.

It bears a superficial resemblance to Nascia cilialis, but has generally narrower forewings.
