Euchromius ocellea

Wingspan 16-27 mm.

A migrant species, occurring mainly on the southern coasts.

The moth has a distinct row of white-edged black spots along the outer edge of the forewing.

It occurs most often in early spring and late autumn, and is possibly also imported with grain products, on which the larvae feed on the Continent.
