Small Waved Umber Horisme vitalbata

Wingspan 30-35 mm.

There are two generations of this moth during the year, flying in May and June and again in August.

It is distributed mainly in the south of England and south Wales.

Inhabiting woodland margins, hedgerows and chalk downs, the larval foodplant is traveller's joy (Clematis vitalba).
