Plumed Fan-foot Pechipogo plumigeralis

(Hübner, [1825])

Wingspan 22-26 mm.

A rare migrant, mainly to the south-east coast of England, with less than a dozen records since the first in 1995, mostly recorded between June and October. It is possible that the species has gained a tentative foothold in the region.

It occurs in southern Europe, where it flies in two generations between May and September.

The foodplants abroad are a number of trees and bushes, including broom (Cytisus scoparius) and ivy (Hedera spp.).
