Wingspan 10-12mm

A small dull grey moth with many darker spots. First recorded in this country in 2000 in London.

The larvae feed mainly on the flowers, buds and young fruit of Citrus species. It is widespread in the Mediterranean region and other areas where Citrus crops are grown. It is an Agricultural pest abroad.

Occurrences in this country are due to imported Citrus plants and fruit.
