Summer Fruit Tortrix Adoxophyes orana

Wingspan 17-22mm.

This moth is a recent arrival in this country and is a pest particularly in apple orchards.

The larvae feed on a variety of fruit, especially apples, and the damage caused can be extensive and costly.

The moth is bivoltine, appearing in June and August-September
