Petite Wave Scopula minorata

(Boisduval, 1833)

Wingspan c. 15-20mm

Adventive.

The specimen shown was found barely alive in a cabbage imported from Spain by Charlie Streets, on 15 February 2013. It is the first record of this species for Britain.

The species occurs in southern Europe and Africa through to Asia.
