Blair's Mocha Cyclophora puppillaria

(Hübner, [1799])

Wingspan 28-36 mm.

An immigrant species along the south coast, occurring in small numbers since the first record in 1946. More recently it has become far more frequent, and may well be a sporadic colonist, or perhaps is expected to become resident in the future.

On the continent, the larval foodplants include evergreen oak (Quercus ilex) amongst others.
