Diasemiopsis ramburialis - Distribution map

Please note that the NBN Gateway map service has been terminated as of 1 April 2017.

As soon as a replacement map service is available, distribution maps will hopefully appear here again.

In the meantime, you can get some idea of distribution from the NBN Atlas website.

Diasemiopsis ramburialis

(Duponchel, 1834)

Wingspan 17-22 mm.

A scarce migrant species which has been encountered mainly on the southern coasts between June and October.

Abroad it occurs in Europe and the tropics, but it is not believed to have bred in the British Isles.

It is easily confused with Diasemia reticularis and care should be taken when identifying either species.
