(Fischer von Röslerstamm, 1836)
Wingspan c. 25mm.
A relatively recent colonist, this species was first discovered in Britain in 1987, after which investigation revealed earlier records that had been misidentified, dating back to 1948.
The species is now established in south-east Kent, where it is recorded regularly at light around the New Romney and Dungeness areas.
The adults typically fly in July and August, but some individuals (possibly immigrants) are on the wing as early as May.
