Tips for a useful photo

Moth at rest, photographed from above, wings filling most of the frame — if it doesn't, drag the crop box tightly around the moth before you send it.
Sharp and evenly lit — avoid flash glare and heavy shadow.
One moth per photo. The month, region and approximate size are optional, but the identifier uses them and they let us flag suggestions that don't fit.
